About us

I am Lilit Mikoyan, an artist/photographer with a focus on architecture and architectural forms. Within my work, I delve into these subjects and translate them into my jewelry creations. My goal is to produce jewelry that doesn't directly mimic specific buildings, but rather explores the interplay of forms and textures, allowing the shapes to exist as separate entities while emphasizing intricate details.

One of my notable jewelry series draws inspiration from the renowned Soviet stations. Through this collection, I aim to capture the essence of these stations in a way that resonates with the wearer. By distilling their architectural elements into wearable pieces, I offer a unique perspective on the iconic structures.

In addition, I have created rings that intentionally incorporate rawness in certain areas, directly reflecting one of the fundamental principles of brutalist architecture: the use of raw materials, such as concrete. By embracing this aesthetic, I highlight the rugged charm of the materials themselves, translating it into jewelry that embodies the essence of brutalism.

Through my artistic exploration, I aim to engage viewers and wearers by offering them an opportunity to appreciate architectural forms in a new and intimate way. By creating jewelry that captures the essence and principles of architecture, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for the beauty and significance of these structures in our everyday lives
